    CalSHRM "We All Serve" Initiative

    Mission Statement:

    We All Serve is a CalSHRM initiative committed to our mission to educate other HR professionals to the benefits of hiring transitioning military veterans to the profession of human resources. We assist our fellow HR colleagues with any concerns over military leave or employee relations.  Our team of dedicated volunteers is also committed to providing coaching for veterans new to the profession or attempting to gain entry.

    We All Serve Team:

    Prezell Harris

    Out of a overwhelming desire to serve, in 2008, Prezell Harris enlisted in the California State Military Reserve. His current assignment is the S-1 NCOIC (HR operations Manager ) for the Legal Suppot Command.

    Antia Cornman SPHR/SHRM-SCP

    Anita has been in human resources management for over 20 years.  She has held HR positions in a variety of industries such as staffing, retail, transportation and construction. Anita served as a Board Member on the Sacramento Employers Advisory Council for 5 years until she moved to Stockton in 2009 and then became a member of San Joaquin Society of Human Resources Management. 

    Diana Chick

    Diana Chick is a seasoned staffing professional with more than 12 years within the local Sacramento job market. She began her staffing career as the administrative support to the Human Resources department in a large fulfillment call center where she was a liaison to the onsite staffing agency. Within her first year, Diana was recruited by the onsite staffing agency to join their team in a local branch overseeing the administrative and payroll operations.

    Lisette Torano SPHR/SHRM-SCP

    Lisette Toraño is a bilingual Human Resources with over 16 years of experience in Employee Relations, Performance Management, Training and Development, and Regulatory Compliance. Having worked primarily in PEO and Corporate environments as an HR Manager, Trainer and Consultant, she has specialized in providing high touch HR support and guidance for small to high volume employers with a variety of industries and multi-state operations.

    Michuan Fleming SPHR/SHRM-SCP

    Michuan Fleming is a Human Resources executive with more than 15 years of experience.  She is currently the Senior Director of Human Resource and Administration for PATH. Michuan is responsible for creating innovative ways to engage all employees and establishing the culture, systems, and training that will develop leaders and empower employees to solve problems.
